GREECE . Day 0 ( Saturday)
ON ARRIVING The first day was an exhausting one. We started our journey at 7.50 and after two hours by train sharing our hopes and wishes for the following week we arrived in Madrid. A bus journey took us to the airport and our fight took off at 13.15. On arriving we went to the tube that we would be using a lot the following days. It has a similar map to the one in London as it is a schematic diagram which was really helpful. After leaving the baggage at the hotel and having some rest, we decided to go for a walk to the city centre. The main square is called Sintangma square where the Hellenic Parliament was. There we had the chance to watch the changing of guard, a touristic attraction because of its particular development and clothes which might well be worn for a traditional dance.
