LITHUANIA: Day 5 (Friday)

Imagen
LITHUANIA -DAY 5 Friday was our last day in paradise . I remember waking up with a mess in my mind: I was incredibly sad as we were leaving that afternoon but I was so excited because I wanted to enjoy every second as much as I could. We arrived at school early in the morning, we were having debates that day.  Until lunch, we were talking about our whole experience, our thoughts and what the project had meant to us. Also, we couldn´t avoid taking pictures and hugging each other every time we had the chance. During the debates in the assembly hall Before leaving school we "tried" to do a flash mob , but by the end , it was just a lot of people just holding blue papers and looking up. After that, some of us returned to Masha's house (Maria and I's host) and had pizza while we were listening to music and chilling out after a crazy week.  Getting to the airport was the worst thing I have ever felt. Luckily, most of the Erasmus participants were leaving at...

LITHUANIA: Day 4 (Thursday)

LITHUANIA: DAY 4 (THURSDAY) This is our last day of activities!! We had one day left. For me, it was the best day. We  got to know each other extremely well and we were pretty confident. It was amazing! In the morning, we had some interesting debates. We were split into some groups and we were asked to discuss whether being different in our countries  was risky ( as the top theme for the lithuanians was "BEING YOURSELF, BEING DIFFERENT" ). There, we could hear some shocking experiences which were totally different from ours. There, I realised we are very lucky to live in Spain, such a tolerant country. After lunch, we went to Gediminas Tower, the oldest building of Vilnius . We learnt some of its history and the views from there were astonishing!! We could see all Vilnius! Then, we had some free time, and our hosts had a huge idea: to go to a sky park , where we had a huge time. And it was there where, for me,we enjoyed one of the best moments of the hole trip, w...

LITHUNIAN: DAY 3 (WEDNESDAY) Hello! We are already on the third day within the  Erasmus project in Lithuania. I think it was the quietest day and we also had a surprise. It was the birthday of two project partners!  In the morning we got up as usual around 7:15, had breakfast and headed towards the High School. There, we sang her happy birthday and gave her presents!                               We at the school entrance with cake and balloons for our partners´birthday!!!   I think he liked them! Besides, that day we had an excursion. Once there, we took a bus that led us to Trakai.       When we arrived we made a route to know the zone more deeply and once we finished, we went again to the bus. The last picture before getting back on the bus! Then we went to a very nice restaurant (it seemed like a fairy tale!) and there they had prepar...

LITHUANIA: Day 2 (Tuesday)

LITHUANIA -DAY 2 Tuesday was the most expected day. We've been talking about how excited we were like for an hour the night before. We arrived at school in the morning, and we took a bus to go to the  Lithuanian Children and Youth Center , where we were going to start our graffiti's creation . At first we have an inspirational meeting talk and then they taught us how to create our graffiti. In process of creation... We were so proud about what we had created but we were also anxious to display it on a big wall. When we arrived at the place we started working on it for an hour, and finally... we finished it. Here it is... After few hours... our graffiti I think it was one of the best days because it was the activity that get us nearer to the main topic: being yourself. We were just watching what we did with a permanent smile on our face. We had created something relevant for us while having fun while getting to know each other , all the Erasmus participants...

LITHUANIA: Day 1 (Monday)

Lithuania: Day 1 (Monday) Saint Anna´s church On the first day we woke up early in the morning because we had to go to the Lithaunian school and meet every student who travelled to Vilnius. We introduced ourselves to the others and Tioma, my host, organized an activity to make that easier. When it finished, and we knew some of them we join a treasure hunt done    in groups and the  group ,finishing  first, won a small prize. It was interesting because thanks to it I got closer to people who I  have never thought of talking to.  Thanks to this activity we saw some monuments and emblematic places, it was really beautiful. A playful way of doing sightseeing. by Ruben Galán

LITHUANIA: Day 0 (Sunday)

Lithuania: Day 0 (Sunday) First meeting on the airport. W e arrived very late on Sunday night but instead of being tired or sleepy we were really excited about meeting our hosts. I still remember when we all saw them for the first time and hugged each other as if we were friends since  childhood. It was  really beautiful feeling, at that very moment we knew that it was going to be an incredible trip. We woke up next day, after  talking a lot to our hosts and knowing them a little bit more and we used that "free day" to visit some places of Vilnius and knowing some more people invloved in  the project. We were shocked that the weather was so good because we expected it to be much colder, we were lucky. We walked a lot that Sunday but even if we were exhausted, we didn't want to go home, every moment was funny when we were together with the people from other countries.  by Ruben Galán
