LITHUANIA: Day 5 (Friday)

LITHUANIA -DAY 5

Friday was our last day in paradise. I remember waking up with a mess in my mind: I was incredibly sad as we were leaving that afternoon but I was so excited because I wanted to enjoy every second as much as I could. We arrived at school early in the morning, we were having debates that day. 
Until lunch, we were talking about our whole experience, our thoughts and what the project had meant to us. Also, we couldn´t avoid taking pictures and hugging each other every time we had the chance.

Before leaving school we "tried" to do a flash mob, but by the end , it was just a lot of people just holding blue papers and looking up. After that, some of us returned to Masha's house (Maria and I's host) and had pizza while we were listening to music and chilling out after a crazy week. 
Getting to the airport was the worst thing I have ever felt. Luckily, most of the Erasmus participants were leaving at the same time so we had the opportunity of meeting each other for the last time.
 My memories of that moment are a bit blurry, as we were all crying and trying without success to stay there.
Finally, we arrived in Madrid to spend the night there and get ready for our journey back home.

LUXEMBOURG: Day 1 (Monday)

LUXEMBOURG-DAY 1 The day started pretty well. When we arrived at the "lycée", we were taken into a room to have some photos taken for the public transport card. After that, we were into a meeting room in the high school, and then the teachers and the president of the CNA presented the project with Mikhail . After that quiet and calm moment, we did a pretty interesting tour around Luxembourg , seeing lots of beautiful buildings and the landscape. One thing that called my attention was the way that the old buildings were connected with the new style. Tips for the future traveller: bring warm clothes, trust me, it was like -10000ºC!!! After that exciting trip, we returned to the high school to meet the psychologist. Then and there  we were discussing and receiving information about  topics like pressure and depression, and we did some activities. 2 hours later, we were going back home to meet again our family, and to rest in order to be ready for the next day. ...

INTRODUCING BETTER BEFORE, AN ERASMUS PROJECT

WELCOME all participants of ERASMUS PROJECT BETTER BEFORE. This is a blog intended to keep the memory of all activities , feelings, views of the journeys done by group integrated by  compulsory secondary  education students and their teachers   about the journeys done to meet students of other countries ( Luxembourg, Lithuania, Greece, Germany, U.K. and Spain) to build up a common product ( visual, touchable, heardable, readable...) that mirrors our students main concerns, worries, priorities... on a common topic BETTER BEFORE. GERMANY_ DAY 2 ( TUESDAY)

DEBATING      It was 7:30 in the morning and we had to wait for the German Erasmus students to come up and told us about what we were about to do.      At first, they divided us into ten groups and each one represented a country. I was very nervous due to the fact that not only I am extremely  shy but also because I was new in the proyect and I did not know what to expect. But, fortunately, my groupmates were so nice that made me feel comfortable even with the idea of having to talk in public. After telling us which country we were going to represent, we started to look for information. The idea was to tell each country´s enviromental problems and their solutions.      One hour later, we had a break  so that we could eat. Then, a woman gave us a speech about pollution, specially CO 2 emission; and about the possible solutions such as The Paris Agreement.
