GREECE.Day 2 (Monday )

 EMOTION ONTHE SURFACE

7:30 in the morning and we're on our feet. An exciting day awaits us, our first day at Larissa´s  school, our first day of shared adventures with five other countries, new discoveries. We were all very nervous.
In the morning, we had to be at 8:30 in high school. When we arrived it was amazing to see how the people who had come on other trips with us were still just as happy, to see how they had grown both physically and mentally.
First of all, they took us to the auditorium, which was super large, with about 100 seats similar to those of a cinema, in short, a theatre. There, a teacher was in charge of welcoming us all with a presentation about the city. Afterwards, the students presented us with the schedule for the whole week and each and every one of us had to say our names.

This was the stage where we were welcomed. If you look you can see someone familiar!

As we were so hungry, we went to the cafeteria that they usually go every day to have breakfast, a breakfast that we loved because it was always a pie with cheese and ham from York!
There we met the friends of our host, what a joy!!!!. The return to High School that day was very funny because we were a little late and people told us to go up a fence so we did so, we jumped!
The second activity, was the visit to a City Museum.

On the way to the museum with these wonderful people and excellent scenery. What more could you ask for?

This was one of the things that impressed me most about the museum, it was a kind of wench on the floor that was found in houses and important buildings of the city in antiquity, simply flippy!

After the museum, which by the way was in a forest, had a beautiful view, we went home  to eat.
After lunch, around 15:30, we had to go toHigh School because we had to do another activity, called  "Treasure Hunt". This activity was simply a gymkana, but not just any other as we had to pass through different places in Larissa and they told us the story. In relation to that story, you had to answer some questions that gave way to the new destination. It was great because we all wanted to win. It was very funny because at one of the stops we looked for information on the internet but we didn't see anything related so I said one answer and another colleague said another. As we didn't know what to say, we played "role stone or scissors" and whoever won because they won their answer, and I won!

This wonderful amphitheater was the third stop!

                                            Selfie’s group!

At the last stop, we thought that we were the last ones, but we were not. So we had to run like never before and fight for the first place but the surprise we took when we arrived, we had been second!
After this activity, we went to a very modern cafeteria to have a milkshake and at night, when we arrived home, we ordered some pizzas and some coke and we remined at home with my host's brothers who lived right on the front door and was not there because he had gone on a trip. We had a great night having dinner, watching youtube videos on TV, a movie...
We went to bed around 23:30, anxious for the next day!
