GERMANY: DAY 4 ( THURSDAY)
CRAFTS AND PARTY TIME...CHILLING-OUT!!!!
On Thursday, we went to the cafeteria in the morning to wait for the program to start, just like we had been doing for the rest of week. My host, Franzi, and I were one of the first to arrive, so we sat down for a little bit and waited for everyone else to get there. As people started arrive, Franzi left, since she had a class to attend to. A few of the first people to arrive were from the Greek team, which I was really glad about, since I have bonded really well with them. Once everyone had arrived, we went to one of the classrooms on the third floor, where they asked us to pick the workshop we wanted to be in. I decided to pick glass, but there were to more options, which were felt and metal.
Once everyone had picked out what workshop they were going to be doing, the German team divided us into three groups of ten people each. We decided to form a group with the Greek team, since we had five from each team. Once the groups were made, group one was asked to go into a room and the other two were asked to into another room. As we were waiting for group one to finish up, we took some pictures with the Greek team and played Hangman.

Once group one was done with the activity, we went into the other room to do it. The activity consisted of covering a piece of cloth with honey wax. The purpose of this activity was to try to replace the plastique we put our food in with this piece of cloth, which can be used over and over and doesn't pollute. This activity went really well with their topic, since it was about taking care of the planet and recycling.
Once we were done with the cloth activity, we took a bus to go to the other workshops. In the glass workshop, we cut glass into different shapes and then gave it some color with colored glue. Once we were done with our pieces we put them under a special light that made the glue hard, so the piece wouldn't fall apart.

At the glass workshop!
While we were in the glass workshop, the people in the felt workshop were making some stuffed animals, and the people in the metal workshop were making some signs about pollution.
Once all the workshops were done some people went home, but Milagros's host, Alberto's host, María's host, Manu's hosts and my host, could not pick us up, so we decided to go to the mall. While we were at the mall we took a look at all the shops and then sat in a restaurant for the rest of the time.
At around 7pm we went to the farewell party, which was an adventure, since we did not really know how to get there. We turned on Google Maps and started going the way it told us to go until we realized that it had taken us to a random highway, so we had to look up the place again. After a while, we finally got there.
Once everyone was there we had some pizza and we danced for the rest of the night.
Pizza time!
And last but no least, PARTY TIME!
This day was definitely one I will never forget! We had a lot of fun all together and we got to really get to know everyone.
