GERMANY: DAY 5 (FRIDAY)

THAT´S A WRAP

Friday marked the end of the project meaning only one week left of it. It began, as the rest of the week, in the cafeteria. However, this time we all have breakfast together where we ate delicious food but we also laughed a lot, played games and tried to make the most of the little time we had left. Then, we did the feedback  addressed to the German group where we shared our feelings about the whole week: favourite moments, things that could’ve been improved or the importance of the topic, " a green future".

Around 11:30 we finished and we went again to the cafeteria, this time to have lunch. We decided to share our meal with the Greek crew. Of course we had to, it was the last!

When we finished we weren’t sure about what was next, so when we realized that it was time for saying goodbye some tears started to fall. With hugs and promises to see each other again sooner rather than later, we parted ways.

The evening was spent with our host. I went to Albrechtsburg in Meißen, where I visited an exhibition after climbing the longest stairs I’ve ever seen. They totally felt  them to be endless.

After our little trip my host, Lilli, and I went bowling with Ana, her host and Shazeeda, a British girl, with her twins hosts. It was an amazing night which ended with an enormous burger.
